FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- A Fort Smith native has been invited to dance for three Oklahoma City Thunder games this season.

Katrina Steward, who owns Miss K's Dance Bungalow, has been dancing and choreographing for more than 20 years.

Steward has performed for the Harlem Globetrotters, Fresno State University basketball and other NBA teams. She was selected this season after her dance videos were noticed online.

Steward will be casting 75 dancers to take along with her to perform and she has chosen her hometown for those auditions. She said as a child, she wasn't given opportunities like this, so she wants to share that with the people in Fort Smith.

"My  mom couldn't afford for me to have lessons when I was younger, so it's an honor actually to have worked hard," Steward said. "No one was really able to give me this type of opportunity, so the fact that I'm blessed and that God is using me to give the opportunity to someone else from boys and girls, teens, children, and adults the same opportunity that I've been given. To give back to my home is simply a blessing."

Auditions are free and will be at the Elm Grove Community Center in Fort Smith Saturday (Nov. 5). A mandatory meeting will start at 9:30 a.m.
