Hogs Ranked In Newest College Football Playoff Poll

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The poll is just more than a year old but the Arkansas Razorbacks cracked the College Football Playoff Top 25 for the first time.

Arkansas checks in at No. 25 after a convincing win over Florida. The Gators fell from No. 11 to completely out of the poll after the 31-10 loss.

The top three stayed the same as Alabama, Clemson and Michigan are firm with Washington in at No. 4. Previously ranked No. 4, Texas A&M fell to No. 8 but have their season in jeopardy with starting quarterback Trevor Knight lost for the season with a shoulder injury.

The SEC has five teams ranked in the top 25 as Auburn is just inside the top ten at No. 9 while LSU is No. 24 after falling 11 spots following a loss to Alabama.

Oklahoma is No. 11 and is the highest ranked school from the Big XII, just two spots ahead of Oklahoma State.
