Garrett’s Blog: “Super Moon Still Bright”

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

While the peak of the Super Moon occurred at 5:23am Monday, the moon will still be big and bright in the sky this evening.

The reason the moon looks bigger and brighter is because it’s closer to Earth than normal.

The moon will rise at 5:48pm Monday night in Fort Smith and 5:46pm in Fayetteville.
