OK Foods Earns Top Awards For Chicken Production

FORT SMITH (KFSM) — OK Foods earned honors for the Top Hatch and Top Chicks award for the second consecutive year at the 2015 Flock Awards.

The awards ceremony was hosted by Aviagen North America, an international broiler company.

OK Foods, the Fort Smith-based company, won the awards for having the highest percentage of total chicks hatched and highest number of chicks hatched per hen housed of Ross 308 chickens.

“Our farmers are the reason we are able to receive this wonderful award,” said Gary Hogue, OK Foods vice president of live production. “They are committed to maintaining the highest quality farms, growing healthy chickens, and providing the highest quality chicken products.”
