WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) — The Washington County fire marshal issued a red flag fire warning on Wednesday (Nov. 16) because of dry conditions across the county.

A red flag warning means there is a high fire threat, because conditions are extremely dry in the county, according to a release. Fires will start and spread easily, and they can grow quickly.

The county discourages all outside burning until the dry conditions improve.
