West Virginia Mayor Resigns After Racist Post About First Lady

Obama

CLAY, W. Va. (CNN) — The mayor of Clay, West Virginia, has resigned and another county official is out following their exchange over a racist Facebook post that compared first lady Michelle Obama to an “ape in heels.”

The county employee, Pamela Taylor, worked as director of the Clay County Development Corporation and wrote on Facebook: “It will be so refreshing to have a classy, beautiful, dignified First Lady back in the White House. I’m tired of seeing a (sic) Ape in heels,” according to a screengrab obtained by CNN affiliate WSAZ.

Mayor Beverly Whaling commented on the post saying: “Just made my day Pam,” the screengrab shows.

Clay County Commissioner Greg Fitzwater confirmed to CNN that Whaling resigned, but did not know if Taylor was terminated or resigned her post. But he said that she was no longer working for the county.

CNN has attempted to reach both Whaling and Taylor for comment and have not heard back.

Isn’t it revealing that this “news” organization goes out of its way to post race-baiting stories like this but NEVER tells you about the multiple incidents of democrat party-sanctioned thugs who’ve been beating up people for their support of Trump? It is so easy to expose these hacks because they are too stupid to hide their liberal bias.

I find it more amazing that a mayor and a leader of a non-profit organization thinks it’s ok to air their derogatory racist comments only because they have been empowered by political campaign rhetoric which was broadcasted by every news outlet.
this has nothing to do with liberals and conservatives. This has everything to do with human decency, respect, and most of all class.

The mayor should have been fired. Michelle has a lot more class than Melania. Michelle never posed in the nude and acted like a hooker like Melania did.
