Woman Almost 90 Dead After Wreck

MADISON COUNTY (KFSM) — A Fayetteville woman who was nearly 90 is dead after being involved in a collision about 11:45 p.m. Tuesday on Highway 412, according to Arkansas State Police.

Jessie Owens, 88, of Fayetteville was driving a Honda north along the highway and was hit by a Chevrolet traveling east, according to police.

The Chevrolet was driven by Bob Massey, 68, of Rogers. Massey and his passenger, Sarah J. Deskin, 67, also of Rogers, were injured and taken by ambulance to Northwest Medical Center in Springdale for treatment, police said.

Police said when Owens tried to switch lanes, she went into the path of Massey and the left side of her Honda was hit.
