Williams, Razorbacks Run Over Mississippi State

STARKVILLE (KFSM)- Arkansas got back on track in conference play holding off Mississippi State to win 58-42 in Starkville on Saturday night.

Sophomore running back Rawleigh Williams set the tone for the ground game early on, scoring the Hogs first touchdown within minutes of the start if the game. In just the first quarter Williams reached 122 yards rushing off four carries. His longest run of the night, which was 72 yards, was the longest of his career. Williams finished his career night with 205 yards on the ground, along with four touchdowns.

Austin Allen also took advantage of a seemingly weak Bulldogs’ defense. Allen completed 17 out of 24 pass attempts for 293 yards and two touchdowns.

The 58 points allowed by Mississippi State (4-7, 2-5) was the most they have allowed this season.

Arkansas (7-4, 3-4) has a quick turnaround playing Missouri this coming Friday (Nov.25).
