FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — Mayor Jordan declared free parking on Thanksgiving Day throughout Fayetteville’s Entertainment District.

Jordan said that paid parking will be reinstated at 2 p.m. on Black Friday (Nov. 25).

On Thanksgiving Day parking will be free for visitors, but drivers should be mindful of spaces reserved for Lights of the Ozarks vendors on the square and marked residential parking spaces.

Parking is free before 2 p.m. daily and uses a pay-by-space system from 2 p.m. to 2 a.m. Kiosks are located throughout the area to make payments or drivers can use a pay-by-phone system.

Visit the city’s website to learn more about available public parking in downtown Fayetteville.
