LITTLE ROCK (KFSM) — A 2-year-old child was killed after shots were fired near UAMS on Tuesday night (Nov. 22).
The shooting happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 2000 block of Harrison Street, reported KTHV. Police said several people were riding in a car when the shots were fired, and the child was struck by a bullet.
The child was rushed to a hospital, but later died.
Officers found multiple bullet casings spread in a six-block area around the shooting.
A suspect in the case has yet to be named.
