FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)- Arkansas got back on track in Bud Walton Arena on Monday night, defeating Mount St. Mary’s 89-76. The victory helped the Razorbacks men’s basketball team improved 4-1 on the season.

Five Razorbacks scored double figures with Daryl Macon leading the way. Macon, coming off the bench for the first time this season, scored a career-high 15 points in the win. Jaylen Barford and Dustin Thomas added 13 points each for the Hogs, while Dusty Hannahs aided with 12.

Arkansas(4-1) suffered their first loss of the season against Minnesota last week. In that game the Hogs had committed 21 turnovers. The Razorbacks showed improvement in that area though, only allowing seven turnovers against the Mountaineers.

“It’s not where we want to be, but we are going to continue to get better,” said Anderson. “I saw a lot of positive things especially coming off of the Minnesota loss.”

Arkansas will be back in Bud Walton Arena on Thursday night to take on Stephen F. Austin.
