VAN BUREN (KFSM) — A man who crashed into a home while suffering a heart attack Tuesday night (Dec. 6) has died, according to the Van Buren Police Department.
Michael Thomas, 67, died at Sparks Hospital in Van Buren shortly after the incident, said Detective Jonathan Wear with Van Buren Police Department.
The accident happened at a home on North 35th Street near Kibler Road around 9:30 p.m., dispatchers said. No one inside the home was hurt.
The homeowners told 5NEWS that the truck Thomas was driving crashing into the back of their car, which was parked in the carport. The parked car prevented the truck from driving through the home and injuring the family.
