FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – Dan Skipper has been a mainstay on the Arkansas offensive line and the senior was recognized for that as he was voted as a first team All-SEC by the league’s coaches.

Skipper was one of five offensive lineman selected as he was joined by Cam Robinson (Alabama), Avery Gennesy (Texas A&M), Will Clapp (LSU) and Ethan Pocic (LSU). The Arkansas senior was named the SEC offensive lineman of the week three times this season and became the 10th player in program history to be named to the league’s first team.

Rawleigh Williams joined Skipper on the All-SEC teams as he was selected to the conference’s second team. Williams rushed for a conference high 1,326 yards and was named the SEC’s offensive player of the week three times this season. Williams have seven 100-yard games in 2016, which ranked the most in the SEC, while he finished with 12 touchdowns.

Alabama freshman Jalen Hurts was named the first team All-SEC quarterback while Arkansas’s Austin Allen was left off the list as Josh Dobbs (Tennessee) and Chad Kelly (Ole Miss) shared second team honors.

The most puzzling omission comes in the form of Arkansas center Frank Ragnow. The junior is considered by most to be one of the best lineman in the country but was left off of both teams. Jeremy Spinkle was also left off as Ole Miss tight end Evan Engram was voted to the first team while Alabama’s O.J. Howard was named to the second team.
