Man Who Prompted Bentonville West Lockdown Arrested

CENTERTON (KFSM) — The Centerton Police Department arrested a suspect on Thursday (Dec. 8) that is accused of sneaking into Bentonville West High School  and prompting a lockdown earlier in the week, according to Police Chief Cody Harper.

Kenneth Easterling was identified as the male who was seen on video at Bentonville West High School on Tuesday (Dec. 6). Information about Easterling and his whereabouts came from a tip after pictures were shown on the news.

Police obtained a search warrant and located Easterling at a residence off of Highway 72. Stolen items from Bentonville West High School and other illegal items were discovered.

As a result of the search warrant, Easterling and two other male subjects were arrested.
