ROGERS (KFSM) — Crossland Construction Company is helping build the local economy of Rogers this weekend by hosting more than 1,300 employees and their families for a year-end company event.

The event will be a celebration of employees’ achievements and their commitment to the communities where they work.

Crossland will run shuttles to and from area shopping centers over the course of the weekend to showcase Rogers and its local businesses. The large influx of weekend tourists will have a significant impact on the local economy.

“As a committed community partner, Crossland is proud to showcase Rogers and its area amenities to our employees and their guests,” John Priest, president of Crossland Construction Company said.

Crossland is welcoming employees and their guest from eight regional offices across the Midwest. Crossland is headquartered in Columbus, Kan., and has regional offices in Rogers, Ark.; Denver, Colo.; Kansas City, Mo.; Oklahoma City, Okla.; Prosper, Texas; Tulsa, Okla.; and Wichita, Kan.

“We have offices in other major economic centers, but bringing people to Rogers is a way for our employees to get a look at what we’re doing in Arkansas and for people to explore the area and enjoy unique shopping experiences they might not have in larger communities,” Chris Schnurbusch, Crossland’s president of its South East Region in Rogers said.

Priest said this weekend was an opportunity for Crossland to give back to the Rogers community by hosting the event in the historic and scenic city.
