FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — A Fayetteville man was arrested on Friday (Dec. 9) as a suspect in a July shooting that injured two people.
Martesh Shamar Logan, 19, was arrested on a warrant and is facing felony charges of first degree battery, terroristic threatening, and committing a terroristic act, according to an affidavit.
Logan is accused of shooting a man outside a Fayetteville E-Z Mart on Wedington Drive after the two got into an argument on July 29.
The victim threatened Logan with a box cutter, and a little later, Logan pulled a gun on him, the affidavit states. Logan fired at least two shots as the victim tried to run away, hitting him in both forearms.
Another bullet struck a passing vehicle, and shattering glass injured another individual inside, the document states.
Logan was booked into the Washington County Detention Center, where he is being held on a $250,000 bond.
