FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — University of Arkansas student access pass holders who are heading home for the holidays can now donate their unused tickets to Razorback basketball games.

Razorback Athletics will redistribute the unused student seats to non-profit and charity organizations in the Northwest Arkansas community, according to an athletics press release. Students can donate tickets for up to three men’s basketball team home games that will be played over the winter break.

Donating the tickets takes less than a minute. Students must fill out an online form with their name, university email, and dates of the games they’d like to donate.

There are three dates to donate tickets:

  • Tuesday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. against North Dakota State
  • Thursday, Dec. 20 at 6 p.m. against Florida
  • Tuesday, Jan. 10 at 8 p.m. against Mississippi State

The donation program is an initiative developed by the Associated Student Government and Razorback Athletics.

“We always love having our students at Bud Walton Arena to cheer on our guys, but we realize that during the holiday break many students leave campus and aren’t able to attend all of the games,” said Mike Anderson, Arkansas head men’s basketball coach, in the release. “Thanks to our partnership with ASG, this is a great opportunity for students to give back as well as introduce new fans to Razorback Basketball. With the start of SEC play earlier than ever before, I want to encourage students who can’t make it to make an assist with the Holiday giveback program and help us fill up Bud Walton Arena.”
