Arkansas Signs Star JUCO WR Brandon Martin

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)–  Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College 4-star wide receiver Brandon Martin made things official on Thursday (Dec. 15), signing with Arkansas. Martin was highly sought after and was ranked as the No. 2 receiver. He is the No. 9 overall junior college prospect.

Arkansas beat out other Power 5 Conference schools, such as LSU, Auburn and Mississippi State.

Martin is a originally from Monroe, Louisiana and attended Wossman high school before going to Prime Prep Academy. In his senior year at Prime Prep Academy he racked up over 1,000 receiving yards and 26 touchdowns. Because of an impressive high school career the wide receiver earned an invitation to play in the Under Armour All-American Game.

Martin tallied 23 receptions for 327 yards and four touchdowns in his only season at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College.

After finishing out the 2016 season at Mississippi Gulf Coast, Martin will have three years of eligibility with the Razorbacks.
