FORT SMITH (KFSM) -- The Next Step: Homeless Services has been helping the homeless in the River Valley since 2002. However, they're in need of volunteers and resources.
Kim Wohlford, executive director of The Next Step, joined anchor Charlie Hannema to discuss the charity, which is a United Way of Fort Smith sponsor charity.
Wohlford said The Next Step has several ways to get involved, including several upcoming events.
