Look carefully at this and discern the grasp of what was implemented and conceptualized from the beginning. Noticed the absence of reference to a deity (or religious assertion) upon the inception? Notice the incorporation and the subtlety of nationalism and religious inference more recently?

See a pattern here? Know your history.

Tell me, are you comfortable with religious manipulation and control of your liberties, your freedoms and your mind? Are you?

1892 (first version) [“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”] (1892 to 1923) [“I pledge allegiance to my Flag and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”] (1923 to 1954) [“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America and to the Republic for which it stands, one nation, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”]
(1954 – current version) 4 U.S.C. §4 [“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”]
