SCOTT COUNTY (KFSM) — U.S. Highway 71 and Intersection 23 were closed Wednesday morning (May 3) for a few hours, according to the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department, .
The accident happened a little over 10 miles north of Waldron after a tractor-trailer heading northbound carrying chicken waste lost its load on the highway.
Both lanes of Highway 71 were closed for over two and a half hours as crews worked to clean up the scene.
At this time, the condition of the driver is unknown.
