SANFORD, Fla. (KFSM) — Nick Gordon has been arrested according to a document provided to 5News from Sanford police.
Gordon was taken into custody Saturday (June 10) afternoon in Sanford and was charged with domestic battery and false imprisonment of an adult.
Gordon was Bobbi Kristina Brown’s boyfriend — she’s the daughter of the late Whitney Houston and singer Bobby Brown.
In a statement, police said Gordon’s girlfriend filed a report on Saturday (June 10) citing that on Friday (June 9) night she was, “hit and punched by her ‘live-in’ boyfriend (Nicholas Gordon).”
Based on the information, police made contact with Gordon at the local club house near their residence and was taken into custody.
Gordon is still under criminal investigation in Brown’s death. In late 2016 a Fulton County, Georgia, judge ordered Gordon to pay Brown’s family $36 million for her wrongful death.
