FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM )–Former Arkansas Razorback and current Tennessee Titan offensive lineman Sebastian Tretola was shot in the leg in Fayetteville.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning (July 23) around 2 a.m. just off of Dickson Street.
On Sunday afternoon, the Titans released a statement confirming the shooting. “We are aware of the reports that Sebastian (Tretola) received treatment for a wound when he was grazed by a bullet. He has been released from the hospital and is thankful for only a minor injury.”
Alejandro Soto, 22, of Springdale was also injured in the shooting. Both men were taken to Washington Regional Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries.
Tretola was selected in the sixth round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Titans and played one game in his rookie year.
Police are still looking for the shooting suspect, who is described as a black man between 5’8″ and 6′ tall with a lean build.
