CRAWFORD COUNTY (KFSM) -- A semi-truck hauling thousands of pounds of chicken caught fire Wednesday night (Oct. 26).
The fire happened about 7 p.m. near the Bobby Hopper Tunnel along Interstate 49. The fire caused the interstate to close.
Authorities said no one was injured.
About 40,000 pounds of frozen chicken was also a total loss. The state health department condemned the load.
