Freezing temperatures are expected late Friday into Saturday.
This will be the first widespread hard freeze of the season with freezing temperatures and frost likely from NW Arkansas into the Fort Smith area and south into the Ouachitas.
A repeat of freezing weather will occur on Sunday morning with a warming trend into the next few days.
