GARFIELD (KFSM) — A Springdale man died Sunday (Jan. 14) after a wreck on U.S. 62 east of Garfield, according to Arkansas State Police.
Albert J. Mellow, 24, died in a multi-vehicle collision shortly before 9 p.m. Sunday near Roberts Loop and Ashmore Drive.
A 1995 Toyota crossed the center line on U.S. 62, hitting the left front of a 2011 Chevrolet. The Toyota then rotated and struck the front of a 1995 Chevrolet, according to State Police.
It’s not clear which vehicle Mellow was driving or if the other drivers were injured.
State police said the weather was clear and road conditions were dry.
