BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) -- A new winter weather agreement is now in place between Benton County and the Arkansas Department of Transportation.
The agreement aims to safely clear snow and ice from state highways and Benton County roads as quickly as possible.
The roads included in the agreement cover approximately 100 miles in mostly rural Benton County.
This agreement extends through March 2019.
