Fayetteville: Pedestrian Killed After Getting Hit By Train

FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) -- A man walking on a railroad track was hit by a train early Saturday (Mar. 31) evening, according to Fayetteville Police Spokesperson Anthony Murphy.

The 31-year-old white male was transported to Washington Regional Medical Center where he died, according to the Fayetteville Fire Department.  He has not been identified by name.

The incident involved the Arkansas & Missouri Railroad and happened near South Royal Oaks Parkway, according to Fayetteville police.
