ROGERS (KFSM) — A man was injured in a car crash in Rogers Tuesday (May 8), according to the Rogers Fire Department.
The fire department said the accident happened on East Walnut Street near Electric Street.
Juan Ramòn Velasquez, 23, was taken to a trauma center in Springfield, Missouri with several injuries, according to his sister, Daisy Romo. His family has set up a Go Fund Me page to raise money to cover his medical expenses.
His sister said that he broke both of his kneecaps and heels. His femur was shattered and replaced with a steel rod. He also broke his hip, elbow, clavicle, and has two fractured ribs.
