Rogers woman killed in fiery Benton County car crash

A report said that after striking a concrete bridge support, the vehicle overturned and caught fire.

BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — A Rogers woman was killed Friday after a fiery car crash in Benton County.

Angela Williams, 43, was driving south on I-49 in Bentonville when she departed the roadway, struck a highway sign, and continued driving until her vehicle struck a concrete bridge support, according to a report from the Arkansas Department of Public Safety (DPS).

The report said that after striking the bridge support, the vehicle overturned and caught fire. 

The incident occurred at around 10:53 a.m. on May 10. Conditions were clear, according to the report.

The crash was investigated by Arkansas State Police. No other injuries were reported.
