OSAGE BEACH, Mo. — Two people died when a plane crashed in central Missouri Sunday, authorities said. According to the Osage Beach Police Department, they were identified as Scott and Amy Lowe of Mt Pleasant, Iowa.
Osage Beach Police said the plane crashed near Grand Glaize Airport on Sunday afternoon, killing both on board. Osage Beach is about 160 miles southeast of Kansas City, Missouri, near the Lake of the Ozarks.
Federal officials will investigate the crash.
