BELLA VISTA, Ark. — A vehicle fire is causing backups on I-49 in Bella Vista.
A traffic report from the Arkansas Department of Transportation (ARDOT) says that a vehicle fire is impacting all southbound lanes on I-49 in Bella Vista near mile marker 94.8.
While traffic in the southbound lane appears to be moving via ARDOT's traffic cameras, traffic seems to be at a standstill in northbound lanes.
ARDOT has not sent an update since the initial report at 5:12 p.m., which says that the incident does not include injuries and does not involve an electric vehicle.
