  • Arkansas Basketball Player Arrested For 1st Degree Assault In Fayetteville

    FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) — University of Arkansas basketball player Arlando Cook, 21, was arrested early Saturday  (Sept. 1) morning for disorderly conduct, public intoxication and first-degree assault. According to Washington County Detention Center, Cook was booked at approximately 2:37 a.m.   He posted a $1,250 bond and was released at 11:57 a.m. The incident happened on Dickson Street outside of a restaurant.   • Two Men Dead After Semi-Tractor Accident in Franklin County

    FRANKLIN COUNTY (KFSM)– Two men are dead after a semi-tractor accident on I-40 near Ozark. According to Arkansas State Trooper Ben Ibarra, the incident  happened shortly before 9 p.m. on (Sept. 1). The driver of the semi-tractor was carrying another tractor headed eastbound. Police say the driver went through a guardrail into the median at the overpass of Dirty Creek. The driver and the passenger died on impact, both men were ages 52 and 54.   • Rollover Accident On I-49 In Fayetteville Causes Traffic Slow Downs

      FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM)–  Crews were on scene following a rollover accident  near the 112 exit along I-49 in Fayetteville Friday morning (Sep. 1). The accident happened shortly before 6 a.m. and caused southbound morning traffic to move slowly, according to Arkansas State Police.
