Chris Breece

Chris joined 5NEWS as Sports Director in July 2012. As a college football fanatic, Chris is excited to cover the Hogs, but also strives to tell the great local stories that oftentimes go unnoticed.

Chris puts a strong emphasis on storytelling and believes the world of sports can go beyond just statistics and records. Every story can be humanized, in a way even non-sports fans can enjoy. He is looking forward to finding local athletes and telling their stories. If you have a story idea, email him at Chris.Breece@kfsm.com

Chris graduated with a Bachelors in Communication from the University of Michigan. He has been covering local sports for six years, most recently at KDRV in Medford, Oregon, as a sports anchor and reporter.
