Marty Cook

Marty came to 5NEWS as the Northwest Arkansas weekend assignment manager in October 2012 after nearly 15 years as a sportswriter with a local newspaper. He was born and raised in Shreveport, La., and graduated from Missouri with a Bachelor degree in journalism with a minor in history. His wife, Jennifer, raises three daughters exceptionally well while Marty desperately tries to stay out of the way without messing anything up. He is usually in timeout.
