    Man Struck By Truck In Springdale, Police Say

    Police say a man was hit by a truck Thursday afternoon while crossing a busy street in Springdale. Springdale officers and emergency crews responded at 4:07 p.m. near the intersection of Maple Avenue and Thompson Street in reference to a pedestrian being hit by a car. The man involved suffered minor injuries and was hospitalized as a precaution, according to the Springdale Police Department. Police did not say what kind of truck was involved in the crash.

    Driver In Deadly Crash Jailed On Suspicion Of Negligent Homicide

    WASHINGTON COUNTY (KFSM) – A Lincoln man faces a negligent homicide charge after his passenger died in a one-vehicle wreck Wednesday night in Washington County. Kevin Cain, 40, was arrested Thursday on suspicion of negligent homicide, driving on a suspended license and reckless driving.     Crews Respond to Fire Near Crawford County Sawmill

    WINSLOW (KFSM) – Firefighters responded late Wednesday afternoon to a fire call at the Provence Sawmill near Winslow, according to the Crawford County Sheriff’s Office. When firefighters arrived they discovered a former chicken house being used for storage was engulfed in flames. Firefighters said the fire was too hot to fight, so they had to let the structure burn.     Benton County Judge Set To Return To Work Tuesday

    Benton County Judge Bob Clinard says he’s planning on returning to work Tuesday (Sept. 2) after undergoing a heart procedure earlier this week. Doctors performed a successful heart procedure on the judge Monday. He went home Tuesday (Aug. 26) and began recovering, according to his office. Clinard said he experienced an emergency medical situation Friday and was hospitalized over the weekend.     Fayetteville Man Kills Girlfriend’s Dogs, Police Say

    FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – A Fayetteville man was arrested Tuesday after police say he killed two of his girlfriend’s dogs. John Christopher Short, 32, was arrested on suspicion of aggravated animal cruelty and probation violation. He remained Tuesday night in the Washington County Detention Center on $7,500 bond, according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. Short’s arraignment is scheduled for Sept. 17.     3 Hospitalized In Rogers Scooter Crash

    ROGERS (KFSM) – A scooter was involved in a wreck that hospitalized three people Tuesday night in Rogers. Emergency crews responded around 9:45 p.m. to Dixieland Road and New Hope Road in reference to a three-vehicle wreck. A scooter was among the vehicles involved in the crash, according to emergency responders. Three people, including the scooter operator, were transported to a local hospital.     Benton County Judge Recovering At Home After Heart Procedure

    BENTON COUNTY (KFSM) – Benton County Judge Bob Clinard is recovering from home after undergoing a heart procedure Monday in Bentonville, according to Clinard’s office. The procedure was performed Monday at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. Clinard was then sent home and is now resting, the judge’s office said Tuesday. Local attorney Edwin N.     BENTONVILLE (KFSM) – Benton County Judge Bob Clinard underwent a heart procedure Monday and is recovering at Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville, according to a statement released by attorney Edwin N.     FAYETTEVILLE (KFSM) – The Fayetteville woman previously convicted in a DWI death was arrested Sunday for the third time this summer on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, according to the Fayetteville Police Department.
