The Arkappella Show Chorus is a group of local ladies that can really hit the high notes. They're tuned up and ready for an upcoming regional competition.

The Arkappella Show Chorus has been spending the last few months in Rogers getting ready to perform in a regional competition. They're a barber-shop style harmony group, 23 ladies strong, and looking to expand their horizons.

“We are members of Sweet Adelines International,” said Suzanne Graham, director. “A ladies organization from all across the world singing 4-part barber shop harmony.”

On March 12th the ladies will be performing at Central United Methodist Church in Rogers.  That's where they practice to make perfect. If you'd like to go, the church is located on the corner of 26th street and New Hope Road.

“This will be a variety of songs,” Graham. “It will also feature two of our competition songs we'll perform at the Region 25 in Richardson, Texas.”

This will be the third time that the Arkappella Show Chorus has performed in a regional competition. The ladies are hoping to hit all of the high notes and bring home the hardware.

The group has also been asked to sing at University of Arkansas basketball games, in Fayetteville as well as, Northwest Arkansas Naturals games in Springdale later this summer.

And church ladies, listen up! They're looking for new members. So if you can sing, give ‘em a ring!
