A Springdale man is arrested for domestic assault after police say he choked his girlfriend until she lost consciousness.
Police say when they arrived at a house on Oakridge, Roy Ernest Ethridge, 46, ran east. Police say they found him lying in a drainage ditch nearly 500 feet from the house.
The victim told police they were in an argument when he “grabbed her by the neck with both hands and choked her until she lost consciousness.”
