A date has been set for an upcoming diabetes expo. The 5th Annual Diabetes Expo will take place Saturday, June 23 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the NWA Holiday Inn Convention Center in Springdale.
The event is free and open to everyone across the state whether they have the disease or are at risk for it, according to The American Diabetes Association. The ADA also invites anyone interested in healthy living to the expo, as well.
Some of the expo events include free health screenings, an “Ask the Expert” area, nutrition and fitness demonstrations and exhibit booths featuring free samples.
