Minor flooding caused some road closures throughout the area Tuesday Morning.  Pevehoouse Road located along Rena Road in Van Buren was shutdown due to flooding.  This road regularly sees flooding. City officials are currently looking for ways to control the flooding on the road. Crews also shut down Ash Drive in Mountainburg because of high flood waters.

In Washington County Dye Creek and Ball Street were shut down due to flood concerns.  Ball Street in Johnson, which regularly is affected by flooding, was also shutdown.

No major interstates or highways were closed in the area due to the flooding.

Crawford County Roads Closed: Pevehouse Rd. off Rena Rd. in Van Buren, Ash Dr. in Mountainburg, Hwy 282 underpass between Mountainburg and Alma

Washington County Roads Closed: South Ball Street in Johnson, and Dye Creek Rd. (County Rd. 240) in West Fork

Sequoyah County Roads Closed: Slab Hollow Rd. in Roland, Bridge water Dr., Neal Dr. and Cherry Creek at the Bridge, and County Road 4640 (Dump Road)

Sebastian County Roads Closed: Bonanza & Sherwood area between Hwy. 71 and Hwy. 45, Mine 18 Rd. by the Jenny Lind Loop. Lavaca is pretty soggy this morning, and so is Hackett and Henderson.
