The Diamond Hogs will take on Nevada in a single game Wednesday, March 21, with first pitch set for 6:35 p.m. at Baum Stadium, according to a news release from the University of Arkansas.

Tuesday’s game was rained out. Arkansas is scheduled to start freshman left hander Mark Reyes, while Nevada is projected to start senior right-handed pitcher Troy Marks.

The Razorbacks are set to leave Fayetteville on Thursday for their weekend SEC series with Mississippi State. Van Horn said he would rather not have his team idle from Sunday through Thursday.

“We are on Spring Break,” Van Horn noted. “We, the players, wouldn’t have a problem playing early–a double header if we needed to. Instead of starting at three we could start at noon. ‘Cause we leave the very next day to go to Mississippi State so yeah, there’s always that possibility. I guess we’ll really monitor that and look at that.”

Season ticket holders should use the Wednesday (Game 20) season ticket for entry into Wednesday’s game, the university says. Fans should also hold on to Tuesday’s season ticket (Game 19) as it will be valid if a make-up game against another opponent is added to the schedule at a later date.

Fans who purchased a single-game ticket for Tuesday’s Nevada game can exchange that ticket for another regular season home game, according to the release. Call the UA Ticket office at 479-575-5151 for more information.
