Easter is coming up fast!  Luckily Pinterest has all the tips you need to get ready for the day.

If you're on the lookout for some unique Easter Eggs you can tryout this pin.

pinterest cracked eggs

Here's what you do.  Just, hardboil your eggs normally, and then, when they've cooled enough to handle, roll the eggs around on a hard surface to crack them.

Be careful not to crack them too hard, because you still want the shell to stay on the egg. Your goal is to develop a nice overall cracked look.

Next re-boil in water with food coloring of your choice.

KOOLAID

The only disadvantage of that pin is the vinegar smell from the egg dye.  If you love making colorful Easter Eggs, but dislike that vinegar smell you can try our next Pin recommendation.  As most parents know, Kool Aid stains everything. Now you can use that stain to your advantage and use Kool Aid packets as egg dyes.  This way you have a great smell, and an effective egg dye.

peeps smores

Another common Easter treat are marshmallow Peeps.  You can make this treat even better by making them into smores.  Just grab a marshmallow, some peeps, and a Hershey's bar, and you've got a great treat.  If you don't have a fire available you can just microwave it for about 20 seconds.  Then you're good to eat!  You'll want to make sure you've got some paper towels on-hand though, because these "Peeps Smores" can get a little messy.
