Corpus Christi starter Jose Cisnero baffled the Naturals for six innings allowing just three hits enroute to a 12-2 decision over Northwest Arkansas.
A two-run 9th allowed the home team to avoid a shut out as the Naturals touched Hooks reliever Josh Zeid for a pair of runs.
Kurt Mertins drove in Sharlon Schoop with a sac fly. Ben Theriot’s RBI single closed out the scoring in the game.
With the loss Northwest Arkansas sits at the bottom of the Texas League North with a 2-5 record.
