According to Paul Nielsen at NWA Newspapers, Maumelle Basketball Coach Wayne Herren will be named the new boys basketball coach at Rogers, after he is voted in at a Tuesday night board meeting.
Herren has never had a losing record while at Maumelle, the school formerly known as Pulaski Oak Grove. In 2009, he took them to their first Final Four appearance in 26 years.
Herren takes over for retiring coach Marty Barnes.
