The Veterans Health Care System of the Ozarks in Fayetteville plans to hire more than 100 new positions for the 144,000 square foot addition to their clinic.

Positions will be hired now through the fall 2012, according to a news release from VHSO.

The VHSO is currently recruiting for approximately half of the available positions for the clinical addition and the remaining positions will be announced by the summer 2012.

All of the positions being recruited will focus on specialty and ambulatory care and range from nurses to medical technologists and from housekeepers to mechanics and carpenters.

The clinical addition will provide expanded services including pharmacy, optometry, orthopedics, gastroenterology, neurology, pulmonology, ENT, podiatry, dermatology, diabetes/endocrinology, infectious disease, rheumatology, urology, gynecology, cardiology and physical therapy, according to VHSO.

Construction is anticipated to finish in this fall and will be open to patients the following winter.
