Another Facebook page called “Lights for Liam” has been created to show support for William “Liam” Lyon, the LeFlore County infant who was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome.
Liam, born Feb. 18, 2011, has undergone several surgeries and months of treatment in hospitals across the country. According to the family’s Facebook posts, his condition is not improving. They are trying to keep him as comfortable as possible as they prepare to say goodbye to him.
The “Lights for Liam” page encourages people to turn on the porch lights of their homes Monday night to “shine on Liam.”
Liam supporters also ask that residents pray for him and his family.
