Home Explosion Sends Three To Hospital

A mobile home explosion in Wister, Okla., resulted in three people being hospitalized, a LeFlore County dispatcher said Sunday.

The three people were taken by helicopter to a Tulsa hospital after their gas stove exploded, the dispatcher said.

The explosion occurred just before 8 a.m. on Sunday, according to the dispatcher.

Wister, a central LeFlore County town with a population of slightly more than 1,000, is about 10 miles southwest of Poteau.
