The War Eagle Mill Craft and Culinary Fair celebrated its 39th annual show from Thursday through Sunday.

The event took place on the grounds of the historic War Eagle Mill, a working water-powered grist mill in Benton County.

Vendors from across the country sold food, art, collectables and much more.

Mike Lesher, who refers to himself as the Peanut Man, has been coming to the War Eagle Craft fair for more than two decades and said he doesn't plan to stop anytime soon.

"Just a good group of people come out to shop,” Lesher said.  “I know all of the exhibitors that are out here, and you just meet a lot of nice folks."

Lesher takes his roasted-nut stand to craft fairs around the country but says this one is by far the best.

"I'm here there and everywhere," he said. "I'm running all year-round. I do a lot of shows, but this one is my favorite."

Van Roehling made a 12-hour drive from Texas to bring his sauce-and-rub company to Northwest Arkansas for his very first War Eagle fair. While this may be his first show, he said it won't be his last.

"I think it's great,” Roehling said. “I love the area. It's gorgeous up here. It's almost more of a vacation than working for us here. We really enjoy it. We've already booked our reservations to come back for future shows."

Lana and Brian Harris are War Eagle Craft fair first-timers. The couple found some interesting vendors selling collectables that they say might be too good to pass up.

"We saw one that we really liked that had rocks that they carved,” Lana said. “I'm seeing a lot of things that are obviously Pinterest inspired."

The War Eagle Mill Craft and Culinary Fair will be back in town Oct. 18 through Oct. 21.

The War Eagle Mill, gift shop and restaurant are open year-round, seven days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
