Benton County authorities say a former Fayetteville man has been arrested for robbing a victim he lured in by placing a fake ad on Craigslist.
Tevin D. Knight, 19, now of Vian, Okla., is charged in Benton County with aggravated robbery. He was in jail Thursday on a $35,000 bond.
An affidavit says Knight robbed a man he lured to McDonalds in Pea Ridge on Feb. 12 by saying he had an iPhone 4 to sell. The victim said Knight instead pulled a revolver on him and stole $500.
Knight is a suspect in similar robberies March 4 in Lowell and days later in Crawford County, the affidavit states.
He lived at Melmar Apartments in Fayetteville.
