Fort Smith Police were called to a home at 7514 Highway 271 South where neighbors reported a man pointing a gun at people.
It happened between 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m.
Police say the man ran inside the home when they arrived. A SWAT team entered the home and arrested the man just after 12:32 p.m.
